Damian Connelly


Principal Consulting Engineer

Damian is a Consulting Engineer with extensive experience on a range of commodities. Experience has been gained in plant operations feasibility studies, detailed design, construction and commissioning, and all unit operations.

A wealth of hands-on operating experience as a Foreman, Plant Metallurgist, Plant Superintendent, Chief Metallurgist and Project Manager, which has provided Damian with a solid base to mix with engineering and construction management.

For the last 26 years he has worked as a Consulting Metallurgist for mining, banking and engineering companies which has provided him with a broad range of experience.


Rachel Connelly


Chief Operating Officer

Rachel is a Certified Practicing Accountant and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has twenty-one years’ experience in business, including a diverse range of commodity experience. She is currently the Director and Chief Operating Officer of two unlisted engineering companies that provide specialised engineering services to a wide variety of clients including mining, oil and gas companies, the Australian Defence Force, fabricators, developers, local governments, councils and private home owners.

She also sits on the board of an unlisted Resource Company that plans to enter the Australian cement market through the development of innovative products. Previously, Rachel was the Financial Controller and Commercial Manager of an AIM listed mining company based in London. She has a diverse range of experience working in medium to large size mining companies and private equity, specialising in developing and managing reporting systems, continuous improvement and change management.


Dr Denis Yan


Consulting Metallurgist 

Denis has over 40 years’ of experience in mining and during this time has had vast experience in most mineral processing environments. Most of Denis’ background is in senior university roles where he led substantial cutting edge research programmes and taught at the WA School of Mines as Program Chair (Metallurgy).

Denis is the author of 32 papers and a popular resource text in mineral processing.
